April 2025 - Site update

Trades are now more flexible, allowing you to change offers you have posted to the Trading Post or sent to other Pals. The chat history for a trade will show the different versions of the trade that have been offered (other Pals can only accept the latest version). Once a trade has been accepted by both sides it cannot be updated any further.

When you list an offer on the Trading Post, you will now receive offers from other Pals rather than just having the listing accepted. You can then choose which offer (or offers) you want to accept. You can also choose to keep the Trading Post listing open after you accept an offer if you like.

When sending a counter-offer, you can include multiple options on the "Give" side, or make it an interest-only offer.

Pin updates

Changed the year of the Streets of Rage Chicken pin from 2022 to 2020.

Added a 2019 year variant to the Mae pin.

Changed the year of the Hot Chocolate Chip pin from 2021 to 2020.

Changed the year of the Ready Set Shovel pin from 2021 to 2020, and added it to the PAX East 2022 pin quest.

Added the The Last Roadtrip pin to the PAX East 2022 pin quest.

Changed the year of the Moonglow Bay pin from 2022 to 2018.

Changed the year of the Cookie Necromancer pin from 2023 to 2024.

February 2025 - Patch

Search results will now return sets that include pins that match the search terms when searching on your My Collection page or on a pal's public page.

January 2025 - Pin listings updated

PinnyPals has been updated with improved pin listing data.
This makes it easier to find pins, as the list keeps growing.

Each pin page has updated tags. Depending on the pin, this could include the game, series, or company the pin is from, characters depicted, the PAX it was released at, and other themes.
Clicking a tag shows you the all pins associated with it.

You can now search tags to find a pin, instead of the exact name.
Try searching for a game, series, company, or character to find all the related pins. Some tags even have acronyms that you can use (e.g., "SMB" for "Super Mario Brothers").

There have also been updates to pin and set names for consistency and accuracy. A list of the changes can be found here.

While we think these changes make it much easier to find pins, there's always room to improve - and now you can help!
When you're logged in, you can use the new "Improve this listing" button on a pin's page to let us know when details are missing or incorrect.

December 2024 - Site update

On the My Trades page, if you have lots of trades, or trades with unread messages, you will now see a menu that lets you choose which trades to show:

Added the Arcs Conflict set. These pins were part of the Unplugged pin quest, but the set was missing.

Added the Can't Catch Harry pin. This pin has a 2020 stamp on the back, but was first made widely available at PAX Unplugged 2024.

November 2024 - Pin updates

October 2024 - Pin updates

Moved the Online Core 2020 set and LE into the PAX Online 2020 section.

October 2024 - Patch

Added sticky section headers when scrolling the pins page.

Fixed an issue where the context popup for pin/set counts with multiple variants would sometimes apply to the wrong variant year. Thanks saikofish!

October 2024 - Site Update

Go to the My Profile page to choose your preferred pronoun.

Other pals will be able to see your selected pronoun when looking at your collection or chatting with you.

Don't forget to click the Save button on the My Profile page after choosing your pronoun.

September 2024 - Patch

Click/tap the stats on your My Collection page to see the details:

Fixed an issue that could result in the My Collection stats being slightly incorrect due to having multiple year variants of a pin or set collected.

When responding to a trade offer, or retracting an offer, you can now include an optional message to the other pal at the same time.
When a counter-offer is sent, the details of the new offer will be displayed in the trade chat messages:

Removed the Categories pin filter option and added a PAX filter.
Pin categories are fairly inconsistent at the moment, so we've removed this filter for now. It will come back in a future update which will make it much more useful!
The new PAX filter makes it easy to filter pins from your favourite PAX.

Updated the My Collection page to automatically save changes - no more accidentally closing the browser and losing unsaved changes!

Added "Show recent updates" button on the My Collection page. Review the details of any recent changes made to your collections.

When logged in, you can now select "None" in the Collection Status filter to show pins that are not in any of your collections.
